How to play it

This is an original Guitar-Land modern rock study. It is designed to teach octave shapes, dynamics, drop tuning, clean-to-heavy contrast. Start at a comfortable tempo, keep the rhythm steady, and focus on clean note separation before adding speed.

Practice plan

1. Count the rhythm out loud.
2. Play the first measure four times slowly.
3. Add the second measure and loop both measures.
4. Record yourself once and listen for timing problems.
5. Raise the tempo in small steps only when clean.

Common mistakes

Do not rush the chord changes. Do not let unused strings ring. Do not squeeze harder than needed. Keep the picking hand relaxed and use muting to control noise.
